Your experience

Join a memorable private guided walking tour and discover the Warsaw of Fryderyk Chopin with a professional and qualified local guide.

Walk through Krakowskie Przedmieście – a historically important and elegant street frequented by the young composer where he lived, studied and performed his music as well as being inspired to compose.

You have the option of taking part in the following formats on this tour - a 2 hour walking tour or a 3 hour tour that will include a visit to the famous Chopin Museum as part of your overall experience.

At the Adam Mickiewicz Monument (a critical point of intersection between two titans of Polish Cultural Heritage) you may start your journey toward the Presidential Palace (where Chopin gave his first public concert at age 8) as well as experience Chopin's early years performing on the organ at the Church of the Visitation Sisters during school masses.

Go to Kazimierzowski palace where the Chopin family lived and where Fryderyk's father was an instructor at Warsaw Lyceum (school).

Next to it, you will find Czapski palace, another home of Chopin's family and where Chopin grew musically.

Following this you will arrive at Holy Cross Church, where you will find the heart of the composer buried in compliance with his last request.

People who choose to go on the 3-hour experience will visit the Fryderyk Chopin Museum, located in the historic Ostrogski Palace.

This modern museum features many multimedia displays that will allow you to learn about Chopin’s life through objects, letters, instruments and other items that were significant to him.

Your guide will also share stories from the life of Chopin to bring his world alive for you and provide insight into his music.

This tour is ideally suited for aficionados of music, history buffs, and those seeking to explore Warsaw from the perspective of its most renowned inhabitant.
