While touring the northern part of Florence with the Cathedral as your main landmark, you will learn about Leonardo da Vinci's connection to Florence, medieval art and architecture, Donatello's innovations, the creation of the first Renaissance statue and painting, the development of linear perspective in art, and Brunelleschi's dome.
You will see the square in front of the Duomo — the first Renaissance building — and take a break for gelato. After leaving Santissima Annunziata, the guide will walk you back to the Cathedral at the end of this walking tour.
