Your experience

You’ll have the opportunity to tour the Accademia Gallery at twilight from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm before they open to the public.

Most visitors will have left for the day, so you will have peace and quite to fully appreciate the masterpieces of the Italian Renaissance after you purchase your tickets.

An experienced English-speaking guide will accompany you through the gallery, providing thoughtful commentary on renowned masterpieces by Michelangelo, Botticelli, Ghirlandaio, and others.

The Gipsoteca Bartolini contains fascinating sculptural exhibits.

The Museum of Musical Instruments has many curious artefacts on display.

For many of the people who visit the museum, however, seeing Michelangelo's great statue, David will be the highlight of their visit, as they will be able to view the artistry of many of the artists who have worked to make this famous sculpture throughout history.

Upon the conclusion of the guided segment of the tour, you are invited to further explore the museum at your leisure until the time of closing.
