Your experience

Unlike most tours in which a tour operator uses multiple guides who each "read lines from a script" of the same information which could have been easily found on an online search in less than 5 minutes, this is unlike any tours you will have experienced with a non-native guide/guide/researcher.

You will gain insight into the artist along with a much better overall understanding of the complete creative universe of Michelangelo.

You will also learn how he connected two completely different works (David & The Sistine Chapel) through various themes in his works.

This rational, conversational approach to the tour allows everyone (but especially children) the chance to understand what the ultimate goal of their experience will be; to understand the message Michelangelo conveyed through his works.

Participants in this interactive presentation are able to pose questions to improve comprehension of the David and the Prisoners, as well as to interest them more in learning everything that Michelangelo produced through using other forms of analogy, and by examining his works through other perspectives.

This section focuses on finding Michelangelo’s greatest Early Work that is David, then we can show how far Michelangelo has exceeded David as a youthful artist (the height of his development) to become an adult artist with mature artworks like the Prisoners, two pieces that are done in the “incomplete” method, located at the same location as the in-progress Prisoners.

Delight in this accessible journey, which conveys a profound message through the use of imagery and metaphors, rendering it understandable even for young audiences.

Michelangelo's creative process can be viewed as a completed tapestry made up of many different types of works (i.e., different art forms).

Each piece has both an artistic and spiritual purpose, and together they form a single theme throughout Michelangelo's entire oeuvre.

In additions to providing authentic local tours throughout the city of Florence, MarioGesu has established himself as a notable performer of Dante’s Divine Comedy, presenting performances at local restaurants and community functions, as well as an official concert in Florence.

His private guided tours provide opportunities to experience the works of Michelangelo by offering an upscale or casual experience at specific points of interest that will help individuals connect to the creative, artistic, and spiritual aspects of the works of Michelangelo.
