Your experience

Discover Florence in a different way in an E-Golf Cart - away from the tourists in the green hills surrounding the city.

Our journey will begin at Porta Romana, a historic entrance built in the 14th century that provided protection to the southern entrance of Florence; our adventure will begin by leaving the centre of the city behind to head towards the elegant roadways leading to the hilltop, where Galileo derived his ideas for his first great discoveries.

We travel along Viale Machiavelli and Viale Galileo, two beautiful streets from the 19th century that were created by architect Giuseppe Poggi; both are lined with cypress trees and large fancy houses.

Our journey shows us a different side of Florence, one that is more peaceful with lots of gardens, scholars, and large buildings that look down over the Arno Valley.

Passing Poggio Imperiale, an ex-Medici residence and grand-ducal estate, we reach peaceful Arcetri.

Here lies Villa Il Gioiello (exterior view), where Galileo Galilei lived out his last years under house arrest.

Despite having nearly lost his sight, Galileo continued to write revolutionary works that changed the course of science forever.

The Arcetri Observatory near Villa Il Gioiello continues to honour Galileo's legacy by linking historical and modern studies regarding the universe together in harmony.

From our golf cart ride we are exhilarated to finally be at Piccolo Belvedere - a very beautiful spot, which overlooks all the red roof areas of Florence, Italy.

Now we have a chance to walk along one of the best views in Florence - the easy walkway leading to San Miniato al Monte - an amazing Roman church, and ending at Piazzale Michelangelo which has an incredible view of Florence.

Please take time to have photos taken and enjoy the peacefulness of the view above Florence before you return to your golf cart.

When returning to Porta Romana you will have access to a section of Florence that is unknown to most, a beautiful blend of art, nature and science surrounded by peace and beauty.

This 1.5-hour private tour combines comfort/culture with an authentic, sustainable way to experience the timeless beauty of Florence.
