Your experience

The Accademia Gallery contains one of the greatest Florentine Collections of Art, with Michelangelo's David being the most renowned piece in the Gallery.

Walk through the Hall of the Colossus, and you will see Giambologna's beautiful Rape of the Sabines and Ghirlandaio's moving Saint Stephen.

Then, visit the Hall of the Prisoners and see Michelangelo's incomplete Slaves and how Michelangelo influenced other Artists like Fra' Bartolomeo and Pontormo.

The Tribune, located in the center of the museum, contains the perfect statue of David.

To the left in the Tribune (left wing), there is a beautiful artwork called the Coronation of the Virgin Mary by Allori that exemplifies the majesty of art from the Renaissance period.

The splendorous Accademia exhibits much more than furniture in the exhibition spaces on the upper floors.

The Gipsoteca Bartolini, located on the first floor, contains some very interesting plaster models that offer insight into the creative processes of artists such as Arnolfo di Cambio, Brunelleschi and other masters.
